Market page overview

A breakdown of the Rain Trade market page, including the probability chart, outcomes panel, resolution criteria, and trading interface.

The market page is where you find all the information for a specific prediction market. This is where you can analyze the current odds, review recent activity, and place your trade.

The page is split into two main columns.

Main content (left column)

This area shows all the core information and activity for the market, from top to bottom:

  • Market details: The market's main question, total volume, and the time the market will close.

  • Probability chart: A graph showing how the probability of the Yes outcome has changed over time, as a percentage. Use the time filters (1H, 6H, 1D, 1W, 1M, ALL) to adjust the time range.

  • Outcomes: Each possible outcome is displayed with its current probability and price. Click an outcome to open its order book, which lists all open buy (bid) and sell (ask) orders with their price, number of shares, and total value.

  • Resolution criteria: Extra context about the market, including the description provided by the creator and the resolution method (Automatic via the AI Oracle or Manual).

  • Activity tabs: Comments (discuss the market), Activity (live feed of recent trades), Top Holders (wallets with the most shares), and Orders (your open and historical orders).

Trading panel (right column)

This is where you take action and manage your position. The trading interface lets you Buy or Sell options, choose your order type, select an outcome, and enter the amount you want to trade. See Trading options for a full breakdown of the available order types.
